Mind Expanding Entheogens

Nature has provided us with amazing plants containing psychoactive or mind-altering properties. These plants are known as entheogens. Several entheogens are specially grown by natives with a shamanic tradition in many parts of the world. The most popular entheogens are the Ayahuasca, the San Pedro Cactus, Kratom, the Morning Glory, Datura, Coleus, shrooms (magic mushrooms) and several others.

A number of entheogens not only excite the senses but also expand the mind. One of these is the Mexican Dream Herb. The extract of this plant is believed to be 10 times as powerful as the standard leaf. The Mexican Dream Herb makes you feel relaxed and well rested. It also clears the senses and is believed to induce visions in dreams, just as the Chontal Indians of Mexico used them to achieve. The Mexican Dream Herb has also been proven scientifically to increase the occurrence of lucid dreams.

The African Dream Herb is another popular mind-expanding entheogen. Its seeds can be found near the beaches anywhere in the world where this plant is grown, especially throughout Africa, India, Asia and Australia. The dark brown giant seeds are believed to powerfully induce dreams when mixed with tobacco or your favourite herb. African Dream Herb users claim that the seeds increase their ability to fall asleep and to remember their dreams.

The seeds of Rivea Corymbosa are another variety of entheogen that are closely related to Hawaiian Baby Woodrose and the Morning Glories. Rivea Corymbosa seeds are said to produce LSD-like effects but less intense with fewer visuals. Trip may last for as long as eight hours and are immediately followed by 12 hours of tranquillity. Rivea Corymbosa has been considered a divining plant by the Mazatec Indians of Mexico.
