Learning about bongs
Just like purchasing and tasting wine, buying a good acrylic bong and getting the best from it requires a certain level of knowledge. Everyone who wishes to own and use one should know the rules first before diving head first into smoking legal herbs.
Bongs are available online, but before buying one you must read a bit about them to know what kind of bong or smoking tool is appropriate for you. It is also helpful if you learn the correct terms for the items so as to avoid looking like a first-timer if you use a shop.
The first thing to learn about using a bong properly is that you shouldn’t exhale into the bong. Exhaling into the bong might spurt some water from it, which will wet you and others seated near you. If you can’t avoid exhaling just exhale through your nose or cover the top of the bong, while you move your mouth away from it. Covering the top will prevent the smoke from getting out.
A carb is installed in a bong to keep the external air from entering it. It also controls the air pressure in the bong. The carb is just a hole that was drilled into the bong’s chamber.
The water inside the bong must be at the right level—not too much, not too little. If there’s too much water in the bong, the chamber will be too moist and it will wet the herb and the smoker. If there’s not enough water, the smoke might burn the smoker’s lungs and throat.
For a more effective trip or a good legal high, you should change the water in the bong regularly. Smaller bongs have to be replaced with water after every smoking session. For larger bongs, changing the water needs to be done less frequently.
