Glass Bongs – the height of luxury!
The term ‘bong’ came from the Thai word ‘baung’ that refers to a tube or pipe taken from a bamboo stem. Bongs have been the most popular smoking paraphernalia in the tobacco history. They are made from different kinds of materials, like wood, ceramic, plastic, metal stem, and glass. Generally, bongs that are made of glass are considered the safest.
Many bong users are more inclined to purchase a glass bong for several reasons. First, the glass bongs are created artistically. Many glass bongs come in various outside shapes that are designed beautifully. Bongs made from other materials have fewer designs and styles. Even the colour of the glass changes under different lighting conditions. Moreover, glass is evidently a good conductor of temperature. It allows the water to remain cool for a longer time, while the other materials can not. The effect of this is the cooler glass touch that gives the lips of smokers a normal feeling. In addition, smokers tend to buy the glass bongs because of their quality. The aesthetic glass offers pleasant and effective smoke visibility.
However, there are also certain drawbacks to glass bongs. First and foremost, glass bongs are more difficult to transport or carry because they are much heavier than the other bongs. Furthermore, glass bongs are more prone to breakage and require caution in handling. Generally, they are just placed and left inside the bedroom or living room because of the possibility of breaking them. Hence, they not usually moved or transported to other places.
